STF arrests 02 suspects for possession of heroin worth over Rs. 130 million

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police Special Task Force personnel arrested a couple living in Wolfendhal Street, Colombo for the possession of over 13 kilograms of heroin.

'The heroin was concealed in the kitchen of the house in the which husband and wife duo lived in,' said Police Spokesperson Senior DIG Ajith Rohana on Sunday (18).

The value of the heroin is approximately Rs. 130 million and belongs to a infamous drug trafficker identified as 'Suresh', the brother of wanted criminal 'Kimbula Ele Guna'.
