COLOMBO (News 1st);  Kusal Janith Perera has been ruled out of the ODI and T20I series against India due to injury.

Sri Lanka Cricket said the Wicket-Keeper Batsman suffered a right shoulder sprain during training.

At the same time, Fast Bowler Binura Fernando sprained his left ankle during a practice session on Thursday (15) and Sri Lanka Cricket said it was a lateral ligament sprain.

Fernando will be unavailable for the ODI series against India.
