Leadership of Basil Rajapaksa still in effect: SLPP

COLOMBO (News 1st): The leadership of Basil Rajapaksa, who is the Founder of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) is still in effect despite his absence, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Youth Front said. "We will act in accordance with the leadership of Basil Rohana Rajapaksa. The fact that he is not in Sri Lanka for a few days is irrelevant. Most people are concerned about his arrival in Sri Lanka. We know what will benefit the country in the future. Basil Rajapaksa is scheduled to arrive in the country tomorrow (12) or the day after (13) " Buddhika Wickramadara, Member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Youth Front told reporters on Friday (Jun. 11). Buddhika Wickramadara added, "Afterwards, he will carry out his plan. There were no problems regarding the operational activities, during the time he was not in the country."
