Inclement weather to continue on Friday (04); Rainfall of over 150mm for some places

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Met Department has warned that the prevailing showery condition in the South-western parts of the country (particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts) is expected to continue 

further. Very heavy falls above 150 mm will occur at some places in above areas on Friday (04).

A the same time, landslide early warnings were issued for multiple districts in the country at 1400 hours on Thursday (03), valid for a period of 24 hours.
