Investors from any country welcome to Port City: Peiris

COLOMBO (News1st): Investors from all countries are welcome at the Colombo Port City, education minister Prof. G.L. Peiris said. "There is no exclusivity, all investors are welcome, as far as investments into the port city is concerned we welcome all the investors irrespective of the source of their business or their funding," he added. State minister Ajith Nivard Cabraal said that so far several investors have expressed interest on Port City. "In fact the school that we have promoting there would probably be having a European name on it, then the hospital which will come up there would probably have a name which will come as a surprise, but at the same time, I probably think that it will be a name that many Europeans would be very familiar with," he noted.
