20-year-old female from Hali-Ela among 29 COVID fatalities confirmed on Wednesday (26)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed 02 deaths that occurred on Wednesday (26 May) due to Covid-19 virus infection. Apart from that, 27 Covid – 19 deaths that occurred between 20th to 25th May were also confirmed.

Of them 02 deaths were reported on 20th May and 01 death on the 21st May, 04 deaths on the 22nd May, 07 deaths each on 23th May and 24th May and 06 deaths on the 25th May were reported. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 1298.
