COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police warned the general public to refrain from impersonating professionals and employees of essential services.
On Tuesday (25) Sri Lanka Police arrested a 30-year-old male in Narahenpita for impersonating a doctor to travel in a car.
In addition, a 46-year-old male was arrested in Colombo 07 for also impersonating a doctor while another was arrested in Fort, Colombo.
The suspects will be charged under the provisions of the Penal Code for impersonation, said Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana.
