COLOMBO (News 1st); 558 COVID-19 deaths were reported since the 15th of April 2021 (Post-New Year Cluster), said the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) on Monday (24).

Sri Lanka currently reports 1,210 COVID-19 deaths and 13 of these deaths were reported before the 04th of October 2020. 1,197 COVID-19 deaths were reported from the 04th of October 2020 to 15th April 2021, said the NOCPCO.

567 COVID-19 deaths reported after the 04th of October 2020 are above the age of 71, it added.
