Sinopharm jab administered at 08 locations in Colombo: CMC

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine manufactured in China will be administered at eight (08) locations in the city of Colombo on Tuesday (May 11), the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) said. People can place appointments to obtain the vaccine through the E-Channelling Service as well, Epidemiologist Dr. Dinuka Guruge of the Colombo Municipal Council told News 1st. According to the Ministry of Health, the first jab of the Sinopharm jab was so far given to 23,575 people.
