New Health Ministry Guidelines; Gyms to function at 25% capacity & Offices with minimum staff

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Health Ministry revised the restrictions under Alert Level 03, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on Saturday (01).

Accordingly, Government and Private Offices will have to operate with minimum number of staff required, while work from home is also available. Day Care Centers, Pre-Schools, Schools, High Education Institutions, Universities, Tuition classes will remain closed until further notice. Gymnasiums and Indoor Sports Halls can function with up to 25% of the capacity of the premises adhering to the COVID-19 preventive guidelines. Restaurants with Take Away and Delivery option can operate with strong adherence to the preventive guidelines. While Pubs & Bars, Casinos & Nigh Clubs, Betting Center and Spas will remain closed Wine Stores are permitted to operate with adherence to the COVID-19 preventive guidelines.
