COLOMBO (News 1st): All schools in the Kegalle district that come under the purview of the will remain closed until Friday (Apr. 30).
This was confirmed to News 1st by Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, the Governor of the Sabaragamuwa Province.
The decision was reached owing to the prevailing COVID-19 high-risk situation, Governor Kobbekaduwa noted.
There are 509 schools in the Kegalle district.
