Dep. Minister Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma Resigns from Parliament

The President's media division confirmed that he has submitted his resignation to the Speaker.

Dr. Suriyapperuma stepped down from his position as a Member of Parliament in order to take on a new role as the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.
