Nine arrested for violating COVID-19 regulations

COLOMBO (News1st): Nine suspects have been arrested for failing to wear safety masks and violating social distancing regulations, police said.
The arrests had been carried out in Kuliyapitiya.
Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said police officers in civil attire will be deployed to monitor the situation in public places during the festive season.
