Daily COVID-19 cases exceed 900 on Wednesday (10)

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka’s daily tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 72,174, after 955 new positive cases were confirmed on Wednesday (Feb. 10). Of the total 955 cases, 940 were from the Peliyagoda Cluster and 15 cases were from the Prison Cluster, the Department of Government Information said. According to the Epidemiology Unit, as of Thursday (11), there are 6,155 active COVID-19 cases receiving treatment at hospital, while 65,644 have recovered. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 375.
