LK domain affected by malicious redirection

COLOMBO (News1st): Certain LK domains were affected by a malicious redirection this morning. However, there have been no reports of data being extracted as a result of this incident. LK Domain Registrar Prof. Gihan Dias speaking to Newsfirst said the malicious redirection that affected LK domains this morning had targetted a majority of government websites. The IP addresses of these websites, including a majority of Government websites, were changed, to be redirected to a different site. Minister of Public Security Retired Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekera said that this incident had not affect national security in any way. He added that investigations have been launched to nab those behind the hack.
