04 arrested for sale of elephant pearls

COLOMBO (News 1st): Four suspects were arrested for attempting to sell five Elephant pearls in the Udupussellawa area, Sri Lanka Police said on Saturday (Jan. 30). The suspects, who are residents of Matale and Medirigiriya, were arrested during a raid carried out based on a tip-off, the Police further added. A luxury SUV and a motorcycle were also seized during the raid.
