LIOC and Sinopec Increase Super Diesel Prices

COLOMBO (News 1st): The price of super diesel has been increased with effect from today, with Lanka IOC announcing a revision in its selling price while leaving all other fuel prices unchanged.

Accordingly, Lanka IOC has increased the price of super diesel to Rs. 600 per litre, effective immediately. No revisions have been made to the prices of other fuel types sold by the company.

Meanwhile, Sinopec had taken steps yesterday to increase the price of super diesel by Rs. 28 per litre. As a result, the price of super diesel sold by Sinopec, which previously stood at Rs. 572 per litre, has also been revised to Rs. 600 per litre.

The latest adjustment means that both Lanka IOC and Sinopec are now selling super diesel at the same price.
