Permission granted to tuition classes to re-open in all areas except the Western province and isolated areas

COLOMBO(News 1st): Permission has been granted to conduct tuition classes to be held in all areas except the Western Province and isolated areas from the 25th of this month, according to the Director-General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardena. In the first phase, Ordinary Level and Advanced Level tuition classes will be allowed, Dr. Asela Gunawardena stated. The maximum number of students allowed to attend tuition classes is 100 students or 50% of the capacity of the hall. A special circular has been issued in this regard and it contains all instructions and necessary guidelines on how to conduct tuition classes in line with health regulations, he further added. Students or teachers are not allowed to cross the district limits to attend tuition classes, the Director-General of Health Services stated.
