COLOMBO (News1st): Two parliamentarians who tested positive for COVID-19 had not attended recent parliamentary sittings, speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana has said. "We have made preparations to disinfect the Parliament and conduct antigen tests," Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena told media on Sunday. He pointed out that the Parliament is not immune to the virus as parliamentarians visit various areas of the country in which the virus is spreading. Sri Lanka Muslim Congress leader Rauff Hakeem and state minister Dayasiri Jayasekara had tested positive for COVID-19.
