Sri Lanka appoints new prison spokesperson

COLOMBO (News1st): Prisons commissioner Chandana Ekanayake has been appointed as the prison spokesperson, state authorities announced on Monday. Ekanayake will serve as the spokesperson for the prisons department and the state ministry of prison management and prisoners rehabilitation affairs. He will continue to hold his current position as the commissioner of administration, rehabilitation and skills development at the department of prisons.
