Colombo (News 1st); Approximately 400 elephants have been killed this year, said Minister of Wildlife & Forest Conservation C. B. Rathnayake on Monday (14).

The Minister said the time is now to put an end to the human-elephant conflict and stressed if he fails in this effort, he would resign.

He said the law will be implemented accordingly against any wrong-doer irrespective of their affiliations.
