75 arrested in total for failing to wear face masks and maintain social distancing

Colombo (News 1st); 75 people were arrested for failing to wear face masks and maintain social distancing over the past 04 days, said DIG Ajith Rohana.
He said legal action will be instituted against them as per the provision of the Quarantine Regulation.
Wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing is mandatory, irrespective of being in a Quarantine Curfew area or not, he added.
