Kalutara Homicide: Arrested Accomplice Found with Warrants from Five Courts

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect has been arrested for aiding and abetting the shooting and killing of an individual in the Vettumakada area of Kalutara.

According to the police, the 36-year-old suspect, a resident of Hambantota, was arrested in Walagedara, Welipenna.

Police added that during subsequent investigations, it was revealed that the suspect also has warrants issued for his arrest by the Magistrate's Courts of Matugama, Kalutara, Tissamaharama, Walasmulla, and Morawaka.

On the 28th of last month, a group arriving in a car shot and killed an individual who was traveling on a motorcycle.
