COLOMBO (News1st): Health officials have said it will require at least two months to eradicate a COVID-19 cluster from the country, in the wake of the second outbreak. "...most of them (the patients) are young and healthy individuals who are active in the community," Dr Hemantha Herath, the acting deputy chief of public health services said. He reiterated that sick people, the elderly, children, and expectant mothers may experience more complications if they contract the virus. "The number of new cases at present is comparatively lower to the infections detected in the last few days," De Herath pointed out. However, he said this does not rule out the possibility of identifying more patients in the coming days.
