Accepting of public proposals for new constitution begins

COLOMBO (News1st): The acceptance of public proposals for the proposed new constitution has commenced, the justice ministry has said. Justice Secretary MPK Mayadunne said the public can put forward their proposals for the new constitution, to a special committee tasked with the exercise. Accordingly, proposals can be sent via post to Room No. 32, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07. The public can also send their opinions via email to [email protected]. According to the Secretary to the Ministry of Justice public proposals will be accepted until the 30th of November.
