COLOMBO (News 1st): The supply of water for several areas in Colombo will be suspended for 11-hours starting at 10:00 pm tonight (Oct. 10), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.

Accordingly, water supply for Colombo 12, 13, 14, and 15 will be suspended from 10:00 pm tonight (Oct. 10) till 6:00 am on Sunday (Oct. 11).

For Colombo 01 and 11, water will be supplied under low-pressure conditions.

The water cut is due to an upgrade to the distribution pipeline system under the Greater Colombo Water and Wastewater Management Improvement Investment Program, the Water Board further noted.
