Colombo (News 1st);  Colombo Chief Magistrate Mohamed Mihar issued a warrant against Former Minister Arjuna Ranatunga on Friday (02) for failing to appear in court to provide evidence.

The case was filed against 10 suspects including Former Colombo Municipal Council member Kulatissa Geekiyanage on multiple charges including the unauthorized entry to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation premises in Dematagoda on the 28th of October 2018.

A warrant was issued on Arjuna Ranatunga for failing to appear in court to provide evidence, as the first witness in the case.

The matter was postponed to the 18th of December.
