Sri Lankans deported from USA arrive

COLOMBO(News 1st): A group of Sri Lankans who were deported from the United States arrived in the island today. The Immigration and Emigration Division at the Katunayake Airport said 18 Sri Lankans were deported from the US. The Sri Lankans were arrested by US security forces and deported for violating US visa regulations. The deportees were sent for quarantine after being subjected to PCR tests at the Katunayake Airport, according to our correspondent. The CID is to obtain statements from them after the 21 day quarantine process.
