Colombo (News 1st); An 08 hour was cut will be in effect from 10 PM on Thursday to 06 AM on Friday for Battaramulla and surrounding areas.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said the supply of water will be suspended for Battaramulla, Koswatte, Thalahena, Malabe, Jayawadanagama and Thalawathugoda.

The water cut is due to essential maintenance on the pipes supplying water to the Batapotha Water Tank.
