Ja-Ela OIC to be transferred on request of NEC

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ja-Ela OIC has been recommended to be transferred to the Police Headquarters, the National Police Commission said. "The recommendation was issued after the Chairman of the National Elections Commission, informed the National Police Commission that the OIC of Ja-Ela had acted in violation of the Election Law, Nishantha Weerasinghe, the Secretary of the National Police Commission said on Friday (July 17).
