38 more incomplete 21/04 investigation files returned to Police

Colombo (News 1st);  Attorney General Dappula De Livera has returned another 38 incomplete investigation files to the Acting Inspector General of Police regarding the suspects arrested following the 21st April 2019 Terror Attacks in Sri Lanka.

State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne, the Coordinating Officer to the Attorney General said in total 78 incomplete criminal investigation files were returned to the Acting IGP with regard to the 21st April 2019 Terror Attacks in Sri Lanka.

Earlier on the 26th of June 2020, Attorney General De Livera returned 40 Incomplete Investigation files to the Acting IGP, and today another 38 Incomplete Investigation files were returned, said State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne.

Attorney General Dappula De Livera had once again directed the Acting Inspector General of Police to properly investigate and conclude the Criminal Investigations with regard to the 2019 April Attacks.
