COLOMBO(News 1st): Museums which come under the purview of the Department of National Museums, Archaeological sites and monuments will be re-opened for the public today.
This is after being closed for over three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
11 museums including the Colombo National Museum will re-open starting today, Director General at the Department of National Museums, Sanoja Kasthuriarachchi said.
Furthermore, all Archaeological sites and monuments including Sigiriya, Dambulla and Yapahuwa, will be re-opened for tourists, under strict health guidelines.
