Sri Lanka's COVID-19 infections reach 1631

COLOMBO (News1st) : Sri Lanka's coronavirus cases rose to 1631 on Sunday after 11 people tested positive for the virus. Nine people who returned from overseas and two navy personnel were among the new infections, the health ministry said. Meanwhile, 20 people recovered from the virus raising the total number of recoveries to 801. The coronavirus, which started spreading in the country on March 11, has claimed nine lives in Sri Lanka, according to the health ministry. According to health authorities, the two clusters of the virus are among Navy personnel and those who returned from overseas.
