Water supply in several areas including Kalutara will be suspended from 8:00 a.m. till 6:30 p.m. today, The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.

This is due to a mandatory repair activity at the Ceylon Electricity Board that will result in a power cut for the Kethhena Water Treatment Plant.

Accordingly, water supply will be suspended for Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Pothupitiya, Morenthuduwa, Kalutara North and Kalutara South, Katukurunda, Nagoda, Payagala, Piliminaawaththa, Bombuwala, Maggona, Beruwala, Kaluwamodara, Moragalla, Aluthgama, Durga Town and Bentota.
