COLOMBO (News1st): Two people including the brother of former lawmaker Rishad Bathiudeen have been arrested in Puttalam over the terrorist attacks on April 21, police said on Tuesday. The Police Headquarters, in a statement, identified the suspects as 41-year old Mohamed Riyaj Badurdeen, and a 40-year old on whom investigations are being carried out. The Special Investigations Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department will conduct further investigations into the suspect, the police noted. The terrorist attacks on Easter Sunday last year, carried out targetting three churches and hotels each, left more than 250 killed and at least 500 wounded.
