COLOMBO (News1st): The number of COVID – 19 infections in the country soared past 200 on Sunday, health authorities said, after four patients tested positive for the virus.

According to the health ministry, 203 patients have tested positive for the virus in total, out of which 141 are active.

Government statistics show that the number of recoveries stands at 55 with seven confirmed deaths due to the virus.
