One shot dead in Weeraketiya

COLOMBO (News1st): A person has been shot dead in the Waakadawala area in Weeraketiya. The victim has been identified as a 37-year old father of two. Police said that the shooting had taken place at a byroad located around 1 kilometre from the residence of the victim. Police suspect that the shooting had taken place as a result of a personal dispute that had taken place last afternoon.
