COLOMBO (News1st): Several frontline members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) signed their nominations to contest the upcoming general election today (March 18).

SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara signed the nomination papers to contest from the Kurunegala District.

National Organizer of the SLFP Duminda Dissanayake and the Spokesperson of the party Weerakumara Dissanayake signed nomination papers to contest from the Anuradhapura district today.

Journalist Sripal Wanniarachchi signed nomination papers to contest the upcoming election under the SLFP ticket from the Kalutara district.

Meanwhile, former Provincial Councillor Susil Kindelpitiya signed the nomination papers to contest from the United National Party.
