Accepting nominations for the General Election begins

Colombo (News 1st)- Accepting nominations for the general election began today (12th March). The National Elections Commission stated that nominations will be accepted at all district secretariats. Accepting of nominations will continue till noon on the 19th of this month. Commissioner-General of the Elections Commission Saman Sri Rathnayake stated that accepting of bonds will also take place till the 19th of this month.
