"Government won't bring Arjuna Mahendran because they want to protect RW" - Wasantha Samarasinghe

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Commenting on the bond scam, former Provincial Council member of the JVP, Wasantha Samarasinghe said;

"Why can't President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who said he will bring Arjuna Mahendran from Singapore, people who said they will bring K.P from Malaysia and arrest him bring Arjuna Mahendran? The reason they are not doing that is because they want to protect Ranil Wickremesinghe. This government has no intention of bringing him to Sri Lanka as the evidence he will provide will be a problem to Ranil Wickremesinghe."

Meanwhile, Minister Dinesh Gunawardena also spoke of the issue and said;

"When I questioned the former PM about who he has appointed and who is responsible for this he said that he will take full responsibility for it. Even though he said that he was not able to present the person who is the main suspect to courts nor present him from leaving the country."
