Colombo (News 1st) – One person died and four other suffered injuries in a motor accident that occurred in the Thambuththegama area along the Padeniya-Anuradhapura road.

The police stated that the accident occurred this morning when a car traveling towards Padeniya collided with a car moving in the opposite direction.

The driver of one car was declared dead after being admitted to the Thambuththegama hospital with severe injuries. The 41-year-old victim was identified as a resident of Nabada.
