Wuhan evacuees to be released from Diyathalawa today

Colombo (News1st) - The 33 Sri Lankan nationals who were repatriated from Wuhan, China after the outbreak of the Coronavirus are set to be reunited with the families today. Army Spokesperson Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe noted that the nationals who were kept in quarantine, at a site in Diyathalawa, since their return to the country on the 1st of February will be released today after meeting the Army Commander at the Army Headquarters. Meanwhile, Dr. Sudath Samaraweera of the Ministry of Health's Epidemiology Unit stated that a final decision has not been reached on when the Chinese national who was cured of the Coronavirus will be released from the IDH.
