Safety equipment worth Rs. 60 million handed over to treat Coronavirus

COLOMBO (News 1st):-  The Ministry of Health states that safety equipment worth Rs. 60 million has been handed over to patients believed to be suffering from the coronavirus and the health workers treating them.

The Ministry stated that the equipment was handed over to 12 hospitals including the IDH through the medical supplies unit.

Thereby equipment has been handed over to the Angoda National Institute of Infectious Diseases, North Colombo Teaching Hospital, Gampaha General Hospital, Negombo General Hospital, Kandy Hospital, Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, Jaffna, Kurunegala, Ratnapura, Badulla and Batticaloa Hospitals.
