COLOMBO (News 1st) – Another phase to appreciate those who supported the United National Party during the presidential election was held in Nattandiya, Puttlam yesterday.

Electoral Organizer of the UNP in Nattandiya organized the event and several MPs and members of the party attended the meeting.

Sajith Premadasa stated that their goal is to embark on a righteous journey and added that they intend to move forward with a wide alliance and a proper system.

He added that their government had its own flaws however they managed to keep the prices of goods low even in 2019 compared to 2014.

He went on to note that a country cannot be strengthened just by ensuring national security while the people are kept hungry.

He further added that if the government wants to reduce the price of grocery they would have to increase gross domestic production.
