6 underworld criminals nabbed in STF raids

Colombo (News 1st) - 6 individuals attached to 2 organised criminal gangs were apprehended by the Police STF during raids conducted this morning. According to the Police, the arrested suspects are linked to crimes such as murder, extortion and illegal sand mining. The Police added that the suspects are accomplices of  the individuals known as "Angoda lokka" and "Uru Juwa." The raids were conducted in the Hanwella, Ambulgama and Jalathara areas. The Police went onto note that a sword and stashes of Kerala Ganja and Heroin were taken into the custody of the police along with the suspects. The Police went onto note that one of the arrested suspects is linked to the murder of IP Rohan Kumarasinghe.
