Expressway bus fares revised

Colombo (News 1st): Expressway bus fares will be reduced by Rs 10 to 20 with effect from midnight (November 15). Accordingly, the bus fare from Makambura to Galle which was at Rs. 420 will be revised to Rs. 410. Further, the bus fare from Makanbura to Matara which was at Rs. 530 will be revised to Rs. 520. Minister Arjuna Ranatunga said the price revisions come as a result of the Outer Circular Highway from Kadawatha to Kerawalapitiya connecting to the Expressway. He also stated that steps were taken to revise bus fares to benefit the passengers.
