Sajith Premadasa challenges Mahinda Rajapaksa to reveal secret agreements

Colombo (News 1st): Presidential Candidate Sajith Premadasa has challenged opposition leader Mahinda Rajapaksa to provide an explanation regarding several factors. The letter challenging Mahinda Rajapaksa requests an explanation regarding the secret agreements with Pillayan, Varadaraja Perumal, Karuna Amman, and M.L.A.M.Hizbullah. Minister Sajith Premadasa points out that Mahinda Rajapaksa had pledged to release Pillayan, who is currently in prison for the charge of murdering an MP while he was engaged in religious observances on the day of Christmas, in a bid to obtain his support. Sajith Premadasa questions, as to whether the people of the East will be allowed to live in fear, after Pillayan, who forced the children of the people of the east to fight for Eelam, is released. He questions Mahinda Rajapaksa as to what pledges have been provided to garner the support of Varadaraja Perumal, who raised the Eelam flag to illegally proclaim an Eelam state. Sajith Premadasa challenges the opposition leader to explain the secret agreement with Karuna Ammaan who killed 600 police officers, bombed the temple of the sacred tooth relic, and the murders in Aranthalawa. He further challenges Mahinda Rajapaksa to reveal the secret agreement with M.L.A.M Hizbullah, against whom allegations were raised as being a terrorist connected the April 21st attack. Sajith Premadasa says that the Alliance of Mahinda Rajapaksa is comprised of all the forms of extremism that this country has seen. The letter says, since Mahinda Rajapaksa's brother does not have the courage to face me for a debate, the people of the country are awaiting for Mahinda Rajapaksa to provide an answer to the four questions that have been raised.
