Sena caterpillar back in action?

COLOMBO(News 1st)- Agricultural Department stated that evidence of the Sena caterpillar has appeared in the cornfields surrounding Anuradhapura and Monaragala districts. Director-General of the Department, W.M.W Weerakoon mentioned that necessary precautions have been already carried out to avoid the infection turning into an epidemic. He added that during this season they expect to cultivate 8000-9000 hectares corn.The government has already decided to avoid importing corn from December 31st.
