Final agreement on 31st to form Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Sandanaya

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The spokesperson for the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, MP Weerakumara Dissanayaka said that the agreement between the SLFP and the SLPP to form the Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Sandanaya will be signed on October 31st. The SLPP, SLFP, National Freedom Front, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya, People's United Front, and a few other parties who have agreed to support the SLPP are expected to sign the agreement. A senior spokesperson for the SLPP said the party leaders from the alliance will be meeting next Tuesday (October 29) to come to a final agreement. Sources report that the Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Sandanaya will be represented by the Chair for the upcoming General Election following the Presidential Election.
