74 dengue-related deaths reported

Colombo (News 1st): The Ministry of Health states that a special dengue eradication program is being implemented in the Kandy District today (October 26) and tomorrow (October 27). Director of the National Dengue Control Unit, Dr Aruna Jayasekara said, the program will be implemented once a week on weekends starting from today for another 2 months. During the course of the year 74 dengue-related deaths have been reported while 58, 834 patients have been reported islandwide.
